Academic Plan

My purpose for coming to Butler Community College is to better my education and to have a better life. I also came to Butler to see how it was different from high school and just to have fun and meet new people. I don't want to have to worry about my bills, being in debt or just wanting to be able to afford what I want and what I need. I want to be able to give myself all the perks that my parents weren't able to give me when I was growing up. I also want to be able to help my mother in anything that she needs help with. My mother is the world to me and if it weren't for her then I wouldn't be here trying to do better for me and my future. She was the one that gave me all the courage to come back to school and do something with my life. I am planning on graduating from Butler with an associates degree. I am planning to major in Law but not just any law i want to be a criminal lawyer. I am planning to transfer my education to KU because they have one of the best Law schools and its less expensive for me to go there than for me to go to Washburn University. I am planning to get a bachelors degree at KU.
